Walsin Lihwa Corporation announced its net operating revenue for May 2008, on a stand-alone basis, was NT$7.2 billion, an decrease of 13% from May last year. January through May net operating revenue for 2008 totaled NT$35.8 billion, the same as last year.
On a consolidated basis, the company's net operating revenue for May 2008 was NT$ 16.9 billion, an increase of 0.6% over May 2007. January through May revenue for 2008 totaled NT$75.3 billion, an increase of 13 percent compared to the previous year.
Walsin Lihwa Corporation, established in 1966, has been the leading manufacturer for copper wires and rods, power cables, and specialty steel in the greater China region.
